Well, I've done it. I've gone ahead and converted my first re-written chapter into the third person perspective as opposed to the first person. I have to say I'm extremely happy with the results. As I have been an RPer (text based role player for those who don't know) for over ten years and doing it in the third person, it feels much more natural to write in third person and I really don't know why I ever tried first person. I suppose the influence from the books I'd been reading at the time.
Anyway, I'm going to post up the revised chapter. Enjoy!

As I stated in my previous update, I have uploaded a new update for the Sacred Terra story. Its an excerpt from my most recent chapter, and another memory. Enjoy!

It's 3:47 A.M. and I'm still awake. I had a few hours of sleep last night, nowhere near enough, and all because I couldn't stop writing! I even forced myself to stop and I can't express how excited I am with the developments of Sacred Terra. It's a quiet kind of excitement since I have no one to cheer with or speak to about it but my own contentment satisfies me.
I hate to begin writing and then stop for something as ridiculous as sleep because it takes so much work to get back into my stride from the previous session and sometimes its hard to re-access the emotions that I'd been using the first time around. Luckily, this time it wasn't difficult.
I may post a small snippet in the next two or three days of what I've been working on but I still haven't made up my mind.
Regards,
Steph

Let's introduce ourselves!
I've been writing since I was in high school. For a while it was only ever a page or two. And then I made the leap and dove into writing out a precious story. It was one that I liked and soon after meeting and getting to know all of the characters, I fell in love with.
Almost six years later and that story is still unfinished. Though the initial manuscript is complete, the revisions continue and who knows just how long they'll continue. I'm always looking for feedback and though I have a few fans (friends and family mostly) I cannot wait to expand the scope of my readers.
Now something a bit more generic. I'm twenty-three and about to turn twenty-four. I've had love and lost it. I lived in South Texas my entire life until I recently moved up state with my mom. I love to read, play video games, swim, and watch movies--Oh, yeah, Korean dramas too--when I'm not writing.
Seeing as I have yet to publish anything and how it may even be impossible in the future to live off of my "pen", I am currently working at a Lowe's Home Improvement store to pay off my school debts. This is especially important seeing as I will not be able to move forward with my education without paying those off.
Among all else, I simply want to entertain my readers (the few I have). I already enjoy my characters because I know who they are. However, introducing them to other people is tricky and if I don't do it in just the right manner then I may be shattering what could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship! So, I will have to trust in my natural and still unaffected imagination until I can figure out just what to do with this empty cranium of mine.
The purpose of this site is simply to introduce you to a few of my ideas, characters, and stories. I also hope to put myself out there a little as an aspiring writer who welcomes constructive criticism. Who knows, maybe this will be the way that I open some new doors.
